This is the upcoming movie from the producer of Vaaranam Aayiram , Dayanithi Alagiri starring MIRCHI Shiva and a new girl from mumbai. Why am I posting about this movie?  I recently listened to this song from the movie called " Oh Maha Zeeya" which is one of the most meaning and insightful song I've ever listened to. I would request you all to please listen to the song and also relate to the true meaning of the song and movie.

I'm a great great great great to the power of infinity fan of Kamal Hasan. I always looked forward to his movies and I'm looking forward to this one too. I've heard that he doesn't show any kind of heroism in his movie. But of course, its a remake of the Hindi movie- A WEDNESDAY. Music is composed by his daughter Shruti hasan. She tried her hand in acting and came out with her first flick in Hindi, Lucky with Imraan Khan which dint give her a good break. Lets hope this one atleast does it to her in music. Here is the Trailer and Promo Song of the movie. I usually don't like remakes but I'm expecting this one after seeing the trailer in satyam the other day. So here it is for your eyes:

SATYAM CINEMAS and REAL IMAGE MEDIA TECHNOLOGIES together present a fun romantic comedy THIRU THIRU THURU THURU (T4), starring AJMAL and RUPA along with MOULI.

The movie is directed by NANDHINI JS, who is a gold medallist from FTIT and winner of State award for best director for her short film OTTAM.

The film has been shot by cinematographer SUDHIR K.CHAUDHARY, again a gold medallist from FTIT and associate of ace cinematographer ASHOK MEHTA (I.S.C) .

The Music of the film has been composed by MANI SHARMA, who needs no introduction and the film has four peppy numbers and a theme track.

MS SURIYA who worked in Kannaamoochi Enada and working on Aanandham Aarambham is the editor for TTTT.

Art Director DRK KIRAN has given simple but amazing setups for the scenes and the songs.

SARAVANARAJAN has choreographed the dance numbers for three main songs and SHANTI for one special song.

LALITHANAND has written beautiful lyrics for three songs and the main theme... YUGABHARATHY has written one special song...

T4 has been shot on Red One camera, and will be post produced in 4 K resolution. T4 will be the FIRST INDIAN END-TO-END DIGITAL FILM.

G. BALAJI has provided his services as the D.A.M (Digital Asset Manager) and Red Technician and the film has been digitally color graded on Digital Visions Film Master by A. VENKATAKRISHNA.

T4, now in post production is slated to release this September and promises to take the audience on Roller Coaster of Fun and Romance.

Review of the Movie: Pattalam


A different tale, the story is set on the backdrop of the Holy Bells school and this has two groups of four adolescent teenagers each. As usual, both groups have rivalries and in this process they tend to get indiscipline and even violent at times. At this point comes Daisy (Nadiya) who is the correspondent of the school, she is also the in charge of a mental asylum and having noticed the group clashes, she realizes that the solution for this is through affection and not punishment. Soon, she begins to counsel the groups and introduces few innovative ways due to which the groups come together and becomes one. They also go on to win an athletic championship but then one incident happens that leaves a lasting impact on them. What is that incident and what happens after that forms the rest of the story.

Okay now for the critics from me:
1. The story is good but could have done better in the screenplay.
2. The music is okay could have been better.
3. When they knew these teenagers have been rival since god knows when, should she have tried to unify them before itself.
4. I find it not so different from KKK because as we can see they have almost the same guys in both the groups and also they have the same old fights which happen in KKK.
5. It doesn't have an Tamil background to it. Its more like a Malayalam film. No Offense guys but it is not just the same.
6. The girl in the movie acts as if she is a child not a 12th std girl.
7.The film could have been a lot better if the script was crisper and focused on some entertaining elements.
8. The best part of the movie is NADIYA. She was just awesome and I except more movies from her.

Conclusion:
Good in parts, just okay.
My ratings: 3/5

Seems familiar..??? This is the Promo for the upcoming Gautham Menon Film starring Simbu and Trisha with a tagline saying " A Different love story.... Again....

As you can see that the pictures are imitating Alaipayuthe, Khakha khakha, Vaali, Uyire, Minasa kanavu Films… and also the upcoming movie… Ayan.. 

This promo comes daily in the Newpaper “The Hindu”.. Any guesses what we could expect from the movie… Lets and wait for more updates on this…

VENNILA KABADI KUZHU... Worth Seeing!!!!

First thing I like about the movie is that is it definitely its name!! No short cuts.. Just plain Vennila kabadi kuzhu. 

The movie is directed by a new guy called Sushidharan. Well for the first time, he has definitely done a pretty good job. The character select is apt.. The lead role played by vishnu speaks for itself. He doesn't show any heroism: normal, plain,simple guy living in a village. 

The movie is about how a gang of young men from a village near Madurai goes to state finals in a Kabadi match and wins it, Of course. This gang consist of people from different castes and one thing that bind them is KABADI. They are well-known for losing all the matches that they have played. Fed up with the insults by the family and neighbour, they decide to win it in a state finals. This were a coach (kishore) comes in. He is ditched by a team for some reason so here he is to help this Kuzhu to win  it. There is defintely a romantic side to the movie. This were the hero marimuthu falls in love with this gal whose name is never revealed in the movie. She comes to the village to attend thiruvizha(its kinda like a festival). She falls in love with him at first sight. They talk to each other but the hero forgets to ask her till the end then she leaves after a week promises to met him in the next Thiruvizha. They do their talking more in their eyes which is kinda sweet.The end has a little twist to it which makes us sit back and have a few tears in the eyes.

Certain things that struck me was the comedy scenes which are really cool. The scene where one of this team member is entering into the contest for eating 50 parotas.. That was hilarious and the scene where they feel like crying when they won their first match ever. Another thing is the dialogues which are so real, has a genuine approach to each character. I do not want to tell you more about it becoz it would spoil the fun of going and watching the movie. But I would say it is definitely worth spending money and watching it. Hats off to them. Personally, It has an impact on me. I think it would have the same on you too!!! Good movies like this should be encouraged more and thanks to susidharan for it...

OOPS!! forgot to tell you about the music.. The songs are too good. The song " Lesa Parakudhu" sung by Karthik and Chinmayi is awesome. One could go on listening to it. The song" Pada Pada" sung by Karthik again is good too. I think Karthik should sing more songs in other movies too.LOL.Did I mention the music is scored by Selvaganesh( a new comer too!!:-))

Naan Kadavul to release in 220 theatres!!!!

The long wait is over at last! The hard work of Bala and producer K.S Sreenivasan of Naan Kadavul has paid of handsomely. It is good news that the distribution rights of Naan Kadavul has been sold for a sizeable price worldwide, thanks to the efforts of the duo, Bala and Sreenivasan in providing the right launch pad for the film. The music of Illayaraja is already popular following the gala audio launch. What induced more interest in the film for the distributors is the thrilling trailer that is making rounds on all television channels.

The marketing strategy used by Bala and team is instrumental in selling all the distribution rights for the film. Now the film is all set to hit 220 theatres worldwide on 6th February.

Naan Kadavul was first announced in 2005 and since then has undergone numerous delays, changes in cast and crew and more than two different producers until K.S.Sreenivasan took up the project for good. The film is a result of more than three years of persistence over prolonged uncertainty.

Naan Kadavul is expected to be a landmark film for all those involved in it. Arya’s maniacal makeover with long locks and Pooja’s drubbed and worn down look as a beggar are widely being touted as national award calibre performances.
