"The Road Not Taken"

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth

Then took the other as just as fair
And having perhaps the better claim
Because it was grassy and wanted wear
Though as for that, the passing there
Had worn them really about the same

And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet, knowing how way leads onto way
I doubted if I should ever come back

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence
Two roads diverged in a wood
And I took the one less traveled by
And that has made all the difference

by
Robert Frost

Now, you might ask?? Why have you written this poetry?
This poem is dedicated to my fellow classmates in MBA. I want to tell them that this poem was related to me when I was in the dilemma to choose my specialization. I asked my dad for a suggestion and guess what he told me? This poem... Road Less Traveled by Robert frost..
I have read this poem during my school times. I was made to memorize it by heart. I used to crib about it, but it was time for me to realize that it works.... Everything which was learnt before does have some use at some point of time. Doesn't it???

this is the poem which attracted me more than anything during my school days itself... Being a lonely traveler, Robert Frost has written these lines. Happy that it fitted you too...

But the road less traveled may not help or may not attract common people with more sentiments ahead. It will make difference for sure, yet needs more commitment and contribution than the other. As we cannot come back, let's neither compare nor sit helpless, after all life is a travel towards death.
